My name is Ruthann.  As many of you, I wear a variety of different hats in my life …mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend. The list goes on!

I have been married 19 years and have two children ages 12 and 10. Teaching and education have always been a huge part of my life.  I have my Master’s degree in education and probably could have kept going.  For fourteen years I devoted my time and energy into teaching kids…both inner city and suburban.  However, after having my own kids, my focus changed and I have been a stay at home mom for the last eleven years.

Born in Colorado and raised in Western Pennsylvania, the beginning of my life was lived in small towns.  Now my family lives outside the Washington DC metro area . The opportunities are huge for our kids and the schools are awesome.  However, I am always looking for chances to incorporate the awesome experiences, ideals, values, and beliefs that were learned from living in a small town.

Life has taken many unexpected turns, but for each I am grateful, blessed, and thankful. Please share in the snippets of my life🙂
